The Knappett Projects Employees' Association members voted yes to the tentative agreement by 86%. This agreement goes into place August 1, 2025. Thank you all for your contributions and participation in the bargaining process. Your engagement is key to the success of the KPEA.
The current agreement expires on July 31, 2025. As a result, the KPEA board and representatives will soon enter negotiations with Knappett Projects management to establish a new agreement. While all existing provisions—and even some that are not currently included—may be discussed, the wage grid typically receives the most attention.

On July 16, members working at the Duncan and Comox sites had the opportunity to review, discuss, and vote on the proposed agreement. Members on sites in the Victoria area will have an opportunity to participate in the ratification vote during site visits scheduled for August 28–30. All votes will be counted when all site visits are complete. If you missed your opportunity to vote while Mark and Angela were on your site, please email or call them to submit a proxy vote.
